I mean, she gave me my first kiss. She taught me how to dance. She always was talking about these crazy things and I never understood a word she said. All I understood was that she was the girl I sat up every night thinking about, and when I’m with her, I feel happy to be alive. Like I can do anything. Even talk to you like this. Ever since early high school I wanted some kind of anchor tattoo. My father was an Admiral in the Navy and so I grew up with a love of nautical things. He passed away my senior year of high school, and so I like to think that this in memory of him, the flowers representing life and that the memory of him will always be alive within me.
